9 functional boreholes, 5 with windmills and 4 with solar pumps.
- 3 boreholes, each approximately 100m deep, supplying approximately 1000l of water per hour.
- 6 boreholes, each 50m deep, supplying as follows:

2 wells next to each other, 9.2m and 6.5m deep respectively. They dry up during very low rainfall seasons. A solar pump installed in the wells’ water table supplies water to the house and the game waterhole.
12.16 km pipelines distribute water to 15 drinking troughs for stock and game.
Camps: The eastern 6898 ha. is divided up into 5 camps.
The western 7390 ha. has no any camps, nor game-proof fencing, to allow game to migrate freely.

The first establishment was during around 1909, by Hauptmann H-H Von Wolf, consisting of 2 wells, 9.2m and 6.5m deep and a small house in the “Schütztruppen” style.
A Whale Oil Tank was brought to the site in 1938 from Lüderitz. During September 2002, the tank was restored as a water tank and a water trough was added.
A beautiful weir was built in natural stone to retain underground water in the depression feeding the wells.
A financial gift from one of the company’s shareholders, Mr. Peter Matthiessen, made it possible for the “Schütztruppen” house to be rebuilt with natural stone in August 2018. The interior of 27m2 contains a bedroom, kitchenette and a shower, toilet and basin, with an 18m2 veranda.

10. Cattle Pens near the homestead
Comprising a camp containing a dam and drinking troughs, a cattle press (“manga”), scale, smaller loading pens and loading dock.
